Update: Love, love the food at this location. Very delicious. Whenever in town, this is a must go to! I had never been here before, but it was highly recommended. May I say well deserved. I got chicken flautas - delicious. My sister a Monteray quesadilla, which she loved as well.
No reservations needed from what I know, always a great spot for Mexican food. Service is good and they give you chips with choices of guac, queso, and salsa or all three on the house! Can't pass up this sort of hole in the wall spot! Always leave satisfied from La Tolteca
Great place! Honestly - it’s a Mexican restaurant... pretty much what you expect. But the service is friendly, the food is good quality and our meals exceeded expectations, drinks were good and prices reasonable. A win for us, we’ll be back! Burritos, Enchiladas, jalapeno margaritas, all good.
I always get the Fajita Nachos from here...because they're excellent. I consider myself a nacho connoisseur, so trust me when I say these are really good. The restaurant is small, but nice, and the staff have always been good. Service is quick and price is just about right! Can't wait for my next nacho craving!
Great local place, Has a very good home ambience. Food is solid with good selection of spicy items and the selection is seemingly endless. I have gone here consistently for a while and haven't had a bad meal yet so that's saying something.
I'm rating this a 5 but my full accurate review would probably be a 3: First, it's a very typical Mexican restaurant that you find in just about every small city. That can be good or bad depending on your preference. However, it's priced way above it's quality range. Second, everything is good but nothing is great. We ordered steak tacos, a quesadilla, and a beef steak adobado. It was good, but again, not great. Third, we were left alone a little too much. To where we were never able to ask for napkins and refills on drinks were way overdue. Regardless of all that, we left satisfied and full, the place was clean, and staff was friendly. If you're the type just looking for a night out of the house, it's a "5" but if you're looking for great Mexican food, it's a "3"
Went here for the first time on 3/22/25. My neighbors took me and the food was amazing! Best Mexican restaurant I’ve had in Maryland. Definitely coming back again!
